How long will my order take to ship?

Core items are hand made to order and may take up to 7 days to ship. Limited edition items are ready to ship.

What materials are Ornuma items made of?

Items in all collections are either made from cold cure clay—varnished and sealed with A resin coating to Mimic fired Ceramic, Cement—set in a silicone mold, or museum-grade paper. All items are then hand-painted with acrylic gouache and sealed with acrylic sealer or varnish.

eco-friendly?

Though Ornuma items are originally made from earth-based materials, they cannot be fired like traditional pottery. to preserve quality and ensure longevity, some items are coated in finishes that are not toxic, but are also not considered eco-Friendly. Despite this, We strive to maintain practices that are eco-conscious such as using biodegradable packaging materials and disposal practices that ensure sustainability. Our products are meant to be collectors’ items and are made to order, or are exclusively limited edition, not mass-produced—an effort due in part to upholding our value of sustainability.

Can I put food on these items?

No 🤎 due to the way that all Ornuma items are produced at the moment, they are not considered to be food-safe. All items are intended for decorative use only. We do however hope to offer true ceramic items in the future.

how can I care for my items?

To ensure long-lasting quality, please do not submerge items in water, or make contact with food. Paper or canvas paintings should be framed or stored to prevent dust, discoloration, or exposure to tearing. Decor items (Vessels) can be wiped down with a damp cloth and air-dried.
